Abhyanga is an original Ayurvedic massage technique.

The word translates as ‘knowledge of life’. Great wise men of the ancient India discovered the Vedas and realized they conceal the secret of health and diseases. Based on this knowledge, they elaborated life Veda known as Ayurveda, which covers several physical, mental and spiritual elements of life and considers achievement of the absolute health and mental comfort as crucial for happiness and well-being.
Every massage begins with determination of the constitutional type of a person: VATA, PITTA, and KAPHA. The treatment is effective in combination with oils and herbs corresponding to each type. The massage influences blood circulation, mobilizes skin and joints, affects muscle tonus and internal organs, and relieves pain. It is performed as slow rubbing with hot oils (36-37˚C) specific for each body type. The cold-pressed oils are of high quality.

Cupping Therapy

An old Chinese proverb says: use moxibustion, acupuncture and the illness will be half-cured.
This effective method was used by many nations throughout the history as a treatment for various diseases. Its roots go back to China, where it has been used for millennia. Pain naturally originates at the points where harmful substances accumulated. These are eliminated from the lymphatic system by moxibustion. Moxibustion cleans the body from pollutants, regenerates affected organs, reflexively stimulates distant organs, prevents illnesses, provides skin congestion, and after temporary unsightly haematoma circles, which disappear after a week, it results in aesthetical skin stabilization and rejuvenation. Moxibustion relieves muscle tension and backaches and improves correct body posture. Drinking alcohol and exposing body to load is not recommended. The client should intensify drinking regime and relax.
Cupping therapy is not recommended to people with fever and oncology patients and is not applied on lymph-nodes or moles.
The massage takes 40 minutes but can be combined with reflexology to a 60-minute-long session.

It is a very relieving massage particularly suitable for backaches and other aches caused by everyday stress and exhaustion. Neck and back massage lightens stiff muscles. It has a beneficial effect on skin, muscles, blood, lymphatic and nerve system, as well as on metabolism.

Thai Massage

This ancient massage originated in India. It is a whole body massage that involves regular and precisely directed manipulation aimed at energy exchange and body balance. The traditional Thai massage is suitable for everybody as is an excellent prevention from diseases and a way to achieve good body and mental comfort. Basically, the masseur uses his fingers, palms, elbows, knees, and feet to stretch and mobilize joints, ligaments and muscles. This technique is more than 5,000 years old. Thai massage improves flexibility, blood and lymph circulation, relieves pain of stiff joints, strengthens the nerve system and eliminates energy blockages. The massage releases toxins from the joints and improves removal of waste from the body. It also helps sustain mental relaxation and stimulates internal organs.
The total effect of this massage is deeply relaxing and results in harmony of the entire body. The massage takes place on a soft mat on the floor. No oils are used; the client is dressed in comfortable clothes.

Shiatsu
Shiatsu is a Japanese word meaning ‘finger pressure’. It also involves pressure of palms, elbows, knees or feet. It contributes to overall relief and comfort, reduces stress in everyday life and susceptibility to diseases.
The main purpose of the Shiatsu massage is to strengthen the body before it gets ill. The massage harmonizes fluent energy flow in the body, boosts the mind and immunity system, hence, stimulates auto-therapeutic and regeneration processes in both the body and mind.
The effect of a touch on the body surface is deeper than one may think – it goes further than a word. This effective massage should be a pleasant meditative process. It takes place on a soft mat on the floor. No oils are used; the client is dressed in comfortable clothes.

Foot Reflexology

The oldest record of foot reflexology was discovered in a picture of an Egyptian tomb from 2330 BC. It depicts a man holding a leg of another person while massaging his foot.
Massage of the reflex points on feet is based on a concept that individual body parts (i.e. organs, glands, structures) are reflected on feet. Gentle manipulation and circular movements influence the organ associated with the particular point on the foot. Apart from treatment of various diseases, this method can be used to maintain health and well-being. The massage offers a feeling of absolute relief and great exhilaration. Fatigue and weariness are immediately replaced by feelings of new strength and stimulation. Foot reflexology represents a simple, but very pleasant way of relaxation. Feet carry us all our lives, why shouldn’t we give them a break?

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

This is a massage of the lymphatic system, which is very important for immunity. It eliminates waste substances and toxins from the intercellular space, skin, subcutis, and muscles in order to provide immediate regeneration of the organism. It improves lymph circulation and fights headaches. This massage technique is used in sport to treat heavy legs. In medicine, it is used as post-operative treatment after ablation of breast or lymphedema, as well as after neurological disorders. It is also effective in fighting cellulites and lymphatic swellings.
Lymphatic drainage of face, chest, head, neck and arms is suitable for elimination of face and eye swellings, wrinkles, also as a treatment of acne or scars, and for general skin renovation and harmonization. It improves skin elasticity.
Lymphatic drainage of the body takes 70 minutes; when combined with face lymphodrainage, it takes 90 minutes. Separate face lymphodrainage lasts 30 minutes.
Massage Seated

The origin of this massage is not quite clear, but it definitely comes from East Asia and is centuries old.
Massage seated lightens stiff muscles and convulsions, and renews body energy. If performed correctly, the massage reduces not only physical but mental fatigue, too.
The massage focuses on problematic areas such as cervical spine, arms, hands, back, and partially also head, thighs, calves and feet.
This massage is not strict; it can be called “free”, because it allows improvisation, application of different techniques and manipulation throughout the whole session. The masseur can use their elbows or palms if they consider it appropriate. The masseur can also focus on a particular problematic zone on the client’s demand.
No oils are used; the client is dressed in comfortable clothes, unless they prefer a classical oil massage.
The massage is also suitable for pregnant women, who suffer from backaches. In this case, the massage is very gentle and some point manipulations are omitted.

Mobilization and Soft Techniques

This is a special rehabilitation method of manual medicine, which affects reflex changes in muscles and subcutis in order to reduce painful muscle tension. Mobilization techniques accelerate further treatment and client’s convalescence.
These techniques involve procedures similar to some massage techniques; especially reflex massage.
They are efficient in post-traumatic and post-operative cases, but also as a therapy for long-term muscle exhaustion accompanied with chronic pains.
The therapy lasts 60 minutes.
Relax Massage

Relax massage is a combination of reflexology massage and Ayurveda. It focuses on legs and feet.
Reflexology congests internal organs through reflex points on the feet, while Ayurveda and hot oils nourish the skin and eliminate fatigue.
The massage lasts 75 minutes.

Lotus flower symbolises simplicity, beauty and compassion.
Simple lotus massage with special techniques improves the current body status and fills it with energy and mental peace. The massage comprises several different massage techniques, such as classical massage enriched by elements from Thai one, anti-stress massage, shiatsu, reflexology and acupressure. This combination strengthens immunity, congests the organs, increases joint flexibility, and removes harmful pollutants from the body.

Chinese Massage of Blockage Relief

Traditional Chinese massage is one of the oldest curative methods to free people from pain and stress by relaxing stiffened muscles, improving blood circulation and reflectively affecting the nerve system. Its principles are based on the theory of yin and yang. Through the technique of pressure, kneading, rotation, stretching, and scratching (quasha) the particular affected acupuncture channels (meridians) are unblocked, thus re-establishing the disrupted imbalance between yin and yang. The massage is performed dry, without usage of oils and consists of two phases – the first being a massage seated, the subsequent one a massage on the massage bed.

Healing herbs contain ephemeral phyto-organic compounds, which are released into the air and create a specific smell. This plant feature is made use of by one of the phytotherapy methods known as aromatherapy.
The aromatherapy massage is a connection of human touch, cold-pressed plants and essential oils.
Essential oils penetrate through skin and connective tissue into lymphatic and blood circulation systems. They strengthen immunity, normalize body functions and establish an internal balance. The massage is very gentle; the therapist works more with body liquids and cell pulsation than with muscles. This treatment is also suitable for children.

Besides that, it supports circulation of the Qi energy, of blood and lymphs, re-establishes performance of inner organs, reduces muscle tension, reflectively affects the nerve system, and last but not least, enhances vitality and health.
