Stanislav Vavrovský is a graduate of 6-year master studies in modern non-Slavic philology at Department of Languages and Cultures of East Asian Countries at the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University in Bratislava, with specialisation in Chinese language and intercultural communication. During his studies he participated in 1-year internship at the Beijing Language and Culture University 北京语言文化大 学 with specialisation in modern Chinese.
Since 2001 he has been a certified translator of Chinese language. Apart from regular interpreting and translations for bureaus Skrivanek Slovensko, Specta, Translata, European Translation Solutions, Abanico, Agentura VKM, Stilus, courts and police organs, he worked also for the Ministry of Economy of SR, Delta Line s. r. o., VEDA, publishing house SAV, League for Human Rights, National Council of SR, Slovak Humanitarian Council, International Organisation for Migration, Art film, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and folklore ensemble Lúčnica.
He is one of the Clinic´s interpreters and translators. His contract with the Clinic binds him to secrecy about all matters, which he comes to know at his interpreting for diagnostics purposes.
