Zora Ercsényiová is a graduate of master studies in Chinese language and intercultural communication at the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University in Bratislava. During her studies she participated in several long-term internships at Beijing Language and Culture University 北京语言文化大学 and at Saint Petersburg State University, where she focused on studies of modern Chinese and Chinese culture.
In the years 2001 to 2007, within her doctoral studies at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, she devoted herself to research work in the field of contemporary Chinese literature. Since 1998 she has been teaching Chinese at the First State Language School in Bratislava. She works as an interpreter for the Police Forces of the Slovak Republic, International Organisation for Migration, League for Human Rights, and various private companies.
She is one of the Clinic´s interpreters and translators. Her contract with the Clinic binds her to secrecy about all matters, which she comes to know at her interpreting for diagnostics purposes.
